The circuit is realized using continuous-time current-mode integrators and DACs with switched-current sources. A design method to nd the minimum biasing current required to achieve the desired dynamic range is presented. With a sampling frequency of 25:6MHz, the circuit is expected to achieve 84dB of dynamic range for a 100kHz bandwidth input signal. The circuit operates from a power supply of 1:7V and consumes 7:4mW in a 0:35 m CMOS process.

Sliding Mode Control of a Bidirectional Buck/Boost DC-DC Converter with Constant Switching Frequency

In this paper, sliding mode control (SMC) for a bidirectional buck/boost DC-DC converter (BDC) with constant frequency in continuous conduction mode (CCM) is discussed. Since the converter is a high-order converter, the reduced-order sliding manifold is exploited. Because of right-half-plan zero (RHPZ) in the converter’s duty ratio to output voltage transfer function, sliding mode current...

In this paper, under the existence of system uncertainties, external disturbances, and input nonlinearity, global finite time synchronization between two identical attractors which belong to a class of second-order chaotic nonlinear gyros are achieved by considering a method of continuous smooth second-order sliding mode control (HOAMSC). It is proved that the proposed controller is robust to m...

Design of an ultra low power third order continuous time current mode ΣΔ modulator for WLAN applications

This paper presents a third order continuous time current mode ΣΔ modulator for WLAN 802.11b standard applications. The proposed circuit utilized feedback architecture with scaled and optimized DAC coefficients. At circuit level, we propose a modified cascade current mirror integrator with reduced input impedance which results in more bandwidth and linearity and hence improves the dynamic range...
