RSA Acceleration with Field ProgrammableGate

چکیده
An eecient implementations of modular exponentiation, i.e., the main building block in the RSA cryptographic scheme, is achieved by rst designing a bit-level systolic array such that the whole procedure of modular exponentiation can be carried out entirely by a single unit without using global interconnections or memory to store intermediate results, and then mapping this design onto Xilinx XC6000 Field Pro-grammable Gate Array.

RSA & Public Key Cryptography in FPGAs
In this paper an RSA calculation architecture is proposed for FPGAs that addresses the issues of scalability, flexible performance, and silicon efficiency for the hardware acceleration of Public Key crypto systems. Using techniques based around Montgomery math for exponentiation, the proposed RSA calculation architecture is compared to existing FPGA-based solutions for speed, FPGA utilisation, ...
متن کاملFully Parameterizable FPGA based Crypto-Accelerator
In this paper, RSA encryption algorithm and its hardware implementation in Xilinx’s Virtex Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGA) is analyzed. The issues of scalability, flexible performance, and silicon efficiency for the hardware acceleration of public key crypto systems are being explored in the present work. Using techniques based on the interleaved math for exponentiation, the proposed RSA ...
متن کاملRSA Cryptography Acceleration for Embedded System
Cryptography plays an important role for data security and integrity and is widely adopted, especially in embedded systems. On one hand, we want to reduce the computation overhead of cryptography algorithms; on the other hand, we also want to reduce the energy consumption associated with this computation overhead. In this paper, we explore techniques to improve the overall throughput and energy...
متن کاملRepeated Acceleration Ability (RAA): A New Concept with Reference to Top-Level Field and Assistant Soccer Referees
PURPOSE To perform an exploratory characterization of repeated sprint sequences (RSS) and repeated acceleration sequences (RAS) in top level soccer referees. METHODS 7 field and 7 assistant referees were monitored during 2007 America's Soccer Cup with GPS technology. Sprints of >18 km·h(-1) and accelerations of >1.5 m·s(-2) were considered as high intensity activities. RSS and RAS were define...
متن کاملComparing Elliptic Curve Cryptography and RSA on 8-bit CPUs
Strong public-key cryptography is often considered to be too computationally expensive for small devices if not accelerated by cryptographic hardware. We revisited this statement and implemented elliptic curve point multiplication for 160-bit, 192-bit, and 224-bit NIST/SECG curves over GF(p) and RSA-1024 and RSA-2048 on two 8-bit microcontrollers. To accelerate multiple-precision multiplication...
