چکیده

Analysis of the natural abundance C content of dibutyl phthalate (DBP) from two edible brown algae, Undaria pinnatifida and Laminaria japonica, and a green alga, Ulva sp., revealed that the DBP was naturally produced. The natural abundance C content of di-(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP) obtained from the same algae was about 50-80% of the standard sample and the C content of the petrochemical (industrial) products of DBP and DEHP were below the detection limit.

Development of an analytical method for dibutyl phthalate determination using Surrogate analyte approach

Dibutyl phthalate (DBP) is a phthalic acid ester and is widely used in polymeric products to make them more flexible. DBP is found in almost every plastic material and is believed to be persistent in the environment. Various analytical methods have been used to measure DBP in different matrices. Considering the ubiquitous nature of DBP, the most important challenge in DBP analyses is the contam...

Variations in Microbial Flora in Different Phases of Refuse in Response to Dibutyl Phthalate

Simulated municipal solid waste (MSW) based on the actual proportional characteristics of MSW was loaded into a simulated leachate recirculation bioreactor landfill and the abundance of common and tolerant microbes exposed to dibutyl phthalate (DBP) were investigated in the initial, acidic and methanogenic phases. The results showed that the abundance of bacteria was greatest, while that of act...

Dibutyl phthalate alters the metabolic pathways of microbes in black soils

Dibutyl phthalate (DBP) is well known as a high-priority pollutant. This study explored the impacts of DBP on the metabolic pathways of microbes in black soils in the short term (20 days). The results showed that the microbial communities were changed in black soils with DBP. In nitrogen cycling, the abundances of the genes were elevated by DBP. DBP contamination facilitated 3'-phosphoadenosine...
