Royapuram Medical School War Memorial

Sir,?We trust you will give the hospitality of your columns to call the attention of the former students of the Royapuram Medical School, and the Medical College, Madras, to the Memorial we are endeavouring to raise to the old students who fell in the Great War. Till now we have received ten names, including those of the Medical College, and a sum of Rs. 1,000 has been collected. It is suggested, with a view to uniformity being maintained, to erect the memorial on lines similar to those erected over the graves of Indian soldiers in the different theatres of war. The amount collected so far is inadequate to erect the memorial in a suitable and lasting form, and we sincerely trust that we can rely on the support of all the students past and present. Suggestions regarding the form of the memorial and any other information may be sent to the Honorary Secretaries of the War Memorial Fund, Royapuram Medical School, Madras, and donations, however small, will be gladly received and gratefully acknowledged by them.
