On a class of second-order impulsive boundary value problem at resonance

چکیده
We consider the following impulsive boundary value problem, x′′(t) = f (t,x,x′), t ∈ J \ {t1, t2, . . . , tk}, x(ti)= Ii(x(ti),x′(ti)), x′(ti)= Ji(x(ti),x′(ti)), i= 1,2, . . . ,k, x(0)= 0, x′(1) = ∑m−2 j=1 αjx′(ηj). By using the coincidence degree theory, a general theorem concerning the problem is given. Moreover, we get a concrete existence result which can be applied more conveniently than recent results. Our results extend some work concerning the usualm-point boundary value problem at resonance without impulses.

Existence of positive solutions for a second-order p-Laplacian impulsive boundary value problem on time scales
In this paper, we investigate the existence of positive solutions for a second-order multipoint p-Laplacian impulsive boundary value problem on time scales. Using a new fixed point theorem in a cone, sufficient conditions for the existence of at least three positive solutions are established. An illustrative example is also presented.
متن کاملExistence solutions for new p-Laplacian fractional boundary value problem with impulsive effects
Fractional differential equations have been of great interest recently. This is because of both the intensive development of the theory of fractional calculus itself and the applications of such constructions in various scientific fields such as physics, mechanics, chemistry, engineering, etc. Differential equations with impulsive effects arising from the real world describe the dyn...
متن کاملOn Approximate Stationary Radial Solutions for a Class of Boundary Value Problems Arising in Epitaxial Growth Theory
In this paper, we consider a non-self-adjoint, singular, nonlinear fourth order boundary value problem which arises in the theory of epitaxial growth. It is possible to reduce the fourth order equation to a singular boundary value problem of second order given by w''-1/r w'=w^2/(2r^2 )+1/2 λ r^2. The problem depends on the parameter λ and admits multiple solutions. Therefore, it is difficult to...
متن کاملSolutions to Boundary-value Problems for Second-order Impulsive Differential Equations at Resonance
In this paper, we investigate the existence and uniqueness of solutions to boundary-value problems for second-order impulsive differential equations at resonance. To obtain these results, we apply fixed point methods and new differential inequalities.
متن کاملAntiperiodic Boundary Value Problems for Second-Order Impulsive Ordinary Differential Equations
Impulsive differential equations, which arise in biology, physics, population dynamics, economics, and so forth, are a basic tool to study evolution processes that are subjected to abrupt in their states see 1–4 . Many literatures have been published about existence of solutions for first-order and second-order impulsive ordinary differential equations with boundary conditions 5–19 , which are ...
