چکیده
This position paper describes the objectives of project “SFIDA” (cofunded by the Italian Government), aiming at developing a GRID-based interoperability platform able to support next generation Supply Chain Management applications specifically addressing the needs of SMEs belonging to industrial districts and dynamic supply networks. Next generation SCM applications are intended in SFIDA to be based on componentization (e-services), intelligence (mining), collaboration (c-business) and customer business-processes orientation. The platform and the next generation SCM applications running on top of it will be tested in various typical industrial cases, spanning from automotive, textile, food, white goods and media retail.

Towards an Interoperability Framework for Model- Driven Development of Software Systems
This paper presents an interoperability framework for enterprise applications and software systems. The framework provides a foundation for model-driven development of software systems supporting the business interoperability needs of an enterprise. This is achieved through a set of reference models that addresses interoperability issues for conceptual integration, technical integration and app...
متن کاملCloud Interoperability via Quick Enterprise Applications Re-Builds
Cloud interoperability is a new problem that is becoming evident as more cloud providers offer competing clouds and more enterprises migrate their applications into the cloud environments. However, for large enterprises the problem lies in enterprise software and middleware non-interoperability and overall complexity more than in the cloud providers incurred issues. In this paper we analyze clo...
متن کاملA Layered Distributed Simulation Architecture to Support the C2 Enterprise
Modelling and simulation can be applied to support Joint Command and Control which involves the interoperability of network-centric systems as well as legacy command and control systems. It is assumed that software will always be the glue between these systems and that a capability is required to demonstrate, support and evaluate interoperability. This paper discusses the layered software archi...
متن کاملTowards a classification framework for interoperability of enterprise applications
Software applications interoperability is a challenge for modern enterprises. It needs establishing standards and protocols for data exchange between different enterprise systems. Nevertheless, since there is no methodology for collecting data, exchanged information is generally incomplete. Business process modelling aims at specifying object flows and processes inside enterprise levels and amo...
متن کاملContribution to a methodology to develop interoperability of enterprise applications
This paper aims at presenting an overview on a methodology to develop interoperability of enterprise applications. After a presentation of the definition of interoperability used as starting point and the main objective of this research, approaches to develop interoperability, particularly the federated approach, in the frame of networked enterprise will be given. A draft of interoperability ge...
متن کاملProduct Centric Holons for Synchronisation and Interoperability in Manufacturing Environments
In the last few years, lot of work has been done in order to ensure enterprise applications interoperability; however, proposed solutions focus mainly on enterprise processes. Indeed, throughout product lifecycle coordination needs to be established between reality in the physical world (physical view) and the virtual world handled by manufacturing information systems (informational view). This...
