چکیده

We consider a holographic model of QCD at finite temperature with nonzero chemical potentials conjugate to R-charge densities. A critical surface of the confinement-deconfinement phase transition is shown for five-dimensional charged black hole solution given by Behrnd, Cvetič and Sabra. On a special section of the parameter space, we find an critical curve being similar to the one expected in QCD. We calculate meson spectra and decay constants in the confinement phase of this section to see their temperature and chemical potential dependences. We could assure generalized GellMann-Oakes-Renner relation and the reduction of pion velocity near the critical point. [email protected] [email protected] [email protected]

The Chiral Model of Sakai-Sugimoto at Finite Baryon Density

In the context of holographic QCD we analyze Sakai-Sugimoto’s chiral model at finite baryon density and zero temperature. The baryon number density is introduced through compact D4 wrapping S4 at the tip of D8-D8. Each baryon acts as a chiral point-like source distributed uniformly over R3, and leads a non-vanishing U(1)V potential on the brane. For fixed baryon charge density nB we analyze the...

Holographic dual of Cold Trapped Fermions

We study cold fermionic atoms using the holographic principle. We note that current atomic experiments with massive fermions trapped in a harmonic potential in the unitarity limit behave as massless fermions thanks to the Thomas-Fermi approximation. We map the thermodynamics of strongly correlated massless fermion to that of the charged black hole and study the thermodynamics and transport prop...

9 Notes on Properties of Holographic Matter

Probe branes with finite worldvolume electric flux in the background created by a stack of Dp branes describe holographically strongly interacting fundamental matter at finite density. We identify two quantities whose leading low temperature behavior is independent of the dimensionality of the probe branes: specific heat and DC conductivity. This behavior can be inferred from the dynamics of th...

Study by simulation the influence of temperature on the formation of space charge in the dielectric multilayer Under DC Electric stress

Multidielectric polyethylene is a material that is generally employed as insulation for  the HVDC isolations. In this paper, the influence of temperature on space charge dynamics has been studied, low-density polyethylene (LDPE) and Fluorinated Ethylene Propylene (FEP) sandwiched between two electrodes were subjected to voltage application of 5kV (14.3 kV/mm) for extended duration of time ...
