چکیده

We prove a jump inversion theorem for the enumeration jump and a minimal pair type theorem for the enumeration reducibilty. As an application some results of Selman, Case and Ash are obtained.

The Jump Operator on the Ω-enumeration Degrees

The jump operator on the ω-enumeration degrees is introduced in [11]. In the present paper we prove a jump inversion theorem which allows us to show that the enumeration degrees are first order definable in the structureDω ′ of the ω-enumeration degrees augmented by the jump operator. Further on we show that the groups of the automorphisms of Dω ′ and of the enumeration degrees are isomorphic. ...

Badness and jump inversion in the enumeration degrees

This paper continues the investigation into the relationship between good approximations and jump inversion initiated by Griffith. Firstly it is shown that there is a Π2 set A whose enumeration degree a is bad—i.e. such that no set X ∈ a is good approximable—and whose complement A has lowest possible jump, in other words is low2. This also ensures that the degrees y ≤ a only contain ∆3 sets and...

A Jump Inversion Theorem for the Semilattices of Sigma-degrees

We prove an analogue of the jump inversion theorem for the semilattices of Σ-degrees of structures. As a corollary, we get similar result for the semilattices of degrees of presentability of countable structures.

Exact Pair Theorem for the ω-Enumeration Degrees

In the paper the exact pair theorem for the ω-enumeration degrees is proved. As a corollary an exact pair theorem involving the jump operation for the enumeration degrees is obtained. Mathematics subject classification: 03D30

A Jump Inversion Theorem for the Degree Spectra

In the present paper we continue the study of the properties of the spectra of structures as sets of degrees initiated in [11]. Here we consider the relationships between the spectra and the jump spectra. Our first result is that every jump spectrum is also a spectrum. The main result sounds like a Jump inversion theorem. Namely, we show that if a spectrum A is contained in the set of the jumps...
