چکیده

We use multiple scattering theory to evaluate the Q 2 dependence of the forward-backward asymmetry, A z , of the missing momentum distribution in quasielstic A(e, e ′ p) scattering, which is expected to be affected by color transparency. The novel features of our analysis are a consistent treatment of the structure of the ejectile state formed after absorption of the virtual photon by the struck proton and a careful evaluation of the background asymmetry induced by the nonvanishing real part of the proton-nucleon scattering amplitude. We find that the absolute magnitude of A z is dominated by this background at the Q 2 's attainable at the Continuous Electron Beam Accelerator Facility. However, the Q 2 dependence of the asymmetry is sensitive to the onset of color transparency, whose observation in high statistics experiments appears to be feasible, particularly using light targets such as 12 C or 16 O.

Relativistically generated asymmetry in the missing-momentum distribution from the (e,e'p) reaction.

We calculate the asymmetry in the missing-momentum distribution from the (e, e ′ p) reaction in a relativistic formalism. Longitudinal and transverse response functions are evaluated in parallel kinematics as a function of the three-momentum transfer to the nucleus. Analytic expressions for the responses are obtained in a relativistic plane-wave impulse approximation. These expressions reveal a...

Investigating Bhattacharya Hypothesis about the Effect of Dividend Signal on Information Asymmetry Risk: An Earnings Transparency Approach

Information asymmetry in stock market can increase the risk of investment which in turn increases the capital cost of firms. Bhattacharya (1979) proposed a hypothesis that states dividend can act as a powerful signal in order to solve information asymmetry problem. We measured information asymmetry by lack of earnings transparency. Therefore we examine the effect of earnings transparency on cap...

Contrary to widespread opinion, color transparency (CT) brings essential ambiguity to, rather than helps in, study of the nuclear spectral function in quasielastic lepton scattering, A(l, l ′ p)A ′ , at high Q 2. Although the nuclear attenuation vanishes, the final state interaction (FSI) of a small-size ejectile wave packet, propagating through nuclear matter, remains. It manifests itself in a...

Investigating the relationship among information asymmetry, dividend policy and ownership structure

The purpose of a financial manager in dividend policy is to maximize the wealth of its owners while providing adequate funds for the company. In this research, the aim is to determine the relationship between information asymmetry, dividend policies and ownership structure. After designing information asymmetry evaluation indicators, the transaction information has been collected from the Stock...
