چکیده
Introduction This module is the seventh in a series of Extension materials designed to provide Extension agents, Certified Crop Advisers (CCAs), consultants, and producers with pertinent information on nutrient management issues. To make the learning ‘active,’ and to provide credits to CCAs, a quiz accompanies this module. In addition, realizing that there are many other good information sources, including previously developed Extension materials, books, Web sites, and professionals in the field, we have provided a list of additional resources and contacts for those wanting more in-depth information about micronutrients. This module covers the following Rocky Mountain CCA Nutrient Management Competency Areas with the focus on micronutrients: Basic concepts of soil fertility, soil test reports and fertilizer recommendations, and fertilizer forms and application.

An Experimental Investigation on Fracture Analysis of Polymer Matrix Composite under Different Thermal Cycling Conditions
Fracture analysis of glass/epoxy composites under different thermal cycling conditions is considered. Temperature difference, stacking sequence, fiber volume fraction and number of thermal cycles are selected as the experimental design factors. The Taguchi method is implemented to design of the experiment and an apparatus is developed for automatic thermal cycling tests. The tensile tests are d...
متن کاملنگاهی به چرخه و اپیزود در اختلال دوقطبی تند چرخش: یک چالش تشخیصی و پژوهشی
Kraepelin was the first who recognized the phenomenon of cycling in bipolar disorder in 1913. The term rapid cycling was proposed by Dunner and Fieve in 1974. Later on, Kramlinger and Post defined ultra-rapid cycling and ultradian cycling in 1996. Frequent rapid mood switches are an inherent characteristic of bipolar disorder, and rapid cycling is included as a course specifier for bipolar diso...
متن کاملOpen-Hole Size and Thermal Cycling Effects on Mass Loss and Surface Degradation of Polymer Matrix Composites
Degradation is a common problem for polymer matrix composites (PMCs) under low thermal cycling conditions. This paper investigates the effects of low thermal cycling on total mass loss (TML) and surface degradation of PMCs. Unnotched and open-hole specimens were weighed before and after low thermal cycling. The total mass loss and surface degradation of the specimens were studied over 250 cycle...
متن کاملThe role of planktonic algae in the cycling of Zn and Cu in a productive sof-water lake
Concentrations of dissolved Zn and Cu were measured alongside biomass (algal numbers, organic C, and Chl a) and dissolved micronutrients (P, Si) over an 8-week period, covering a pronounced bloom of the diatom, Asterionella. The distribution of dissolved Zn appears to be affected by algal cycling in two ways: in the period up to and including the diatom maximum, dissolved Zn correlates (P < 0.0...
متن کاملSurface Degradation of Polymer Matrix Composites Under Different Low Thermal Cycling Conditions
The principal effects of mass degradation on polymer matrix composites (PMCs) are the decay of mechanical properties such as strength, elongation, and resilience. This degradation is a common problem of the PMCs under thermal cycling conditions. In this article, composite degradation was investigated by measurement of total mass loss (TML) using the Taguchi approach. Thermal cycling tests were ...
