ter was passed, and about a pint of urine was removed. No stone was detected. As he still had difficulty in passing urine naturally, a soft catheter was again passed without difficulty. His urine contained mucus and phosphates. He was orderd tonics, strychnia, and good diet, while the bladder was regularly washed out with boracie lotion.
