A Model of Collaborative Knowledge-Building Based on Web2.0

چکیده
The ubiquitous linking of computers in local and global networks makes possible the sharing of thoughts by people who are separated spatially or temporally. Many efforts are made to increase opportunities for effective collaborative working, learning and acting through innovative uses of computer technology, and one of these efforts is to build group knowledge collaboratively. This paper presents a model of collaborative knowledgebuilding (CKB) as a social process, which constitutes both personal and social knowledge-building as well as aggregations between them. This model incorporates insights from Web 2.0, CAS and CSCL (Computer Support of Collaborative of Learning) in the hope of providing a useful conceptual framework for the design of collaborative knowledge-building environments.

متن کاملA Paper Recommender for Scientific Literatures Based on Semantic Concept Similarity
Recently, collaborative tagging has become more and more popular in the Web2.0 community, since tags in these Web2.0 systems reflect the specific content features of the resources. This paper presents a recommender for scientific literatures based on semantic concept similarity computed from the collaborative tags. User profiles and item profiles are presented by these semantic concepts, and ne...
متن کاملA Random Walk Model for Item Recommendation in Folksonomies
social tagging, as a novel approach to information organization and discovery, has been widely adopted in many Web2.0 applications. The tags provide a new type of information that can be exploited by recommender systems. Nevertheless, the sparsity of ternary interaction data limits the performance of tag-based collaborative filtering. This paper proposes a random-walk-based al...
