Motion synthesis and editing in low-dimensional spaces

چکیده
1 Human motion is difficult to create and manipulate because of the high dimen-sionality and spatiotemporal nature of human motion data. Recently, the use of large collections of captured motion data has added increased realism in character animation. In order to make the synthesis and analysis of motion data tractable, we present a low-dimensional motion space in which high-dimensional human motion can be effectively visualized, synthesized, edited, parameterized, and interpolated in both spatial and temporal domains. Our system allows users to create and edit the motion of animated characters in several ways: The user can sketch and edit a curve on low-dimensional motion space, directly manipulate the character's pose in three-dimensional object space, or specify key poses to create in-between motions.

Topology-based representations for motion planning and grasping
topology-based representations that describe the interactions between 1D curves using their original configurations were proposed for motion synthesis (Edmond and Komura, 2009; Tamei et al., 2011) and for classifying paths into homotopy groups (Bhattacharya et al., 2011). In (Edmond and Komura, 2009), a representation based on the Gauss Linking Integral was suggested to generate winding movemen...
متن کاملSpatial Pose Trees: Creating and Editing Motions Using a Hierarchy of Low Dimensional Control Spaces
Spatial pose trees are a representation of motion that organizes motion data as a hierarchy of components. Each component has an associated set of target poses, as well as a user–editable 3D control space for creating motion by pose interpolation. This hierarchical partitioning, along with a selective display of poses relevant to a particular motion component, allows users to easily navigate la...

Introduction: Gluteal to tensor index indicates the electrical activition ratio of gluteal to tensor fasciae latae muscles, that the normalized electrical activity is used. The role of hip muscles in improving function and preventing injury is also considerable in the rehabilitation process of injury in patients with nonspecific chronic low back pain. This study aimed to compare the effect of c...
متن کامل3D Human Motion Editing and Synthesis: A Survey
The ways to compute the kinematics and dynamic quantities of human bodies in motion have been studied in many biomedical papers. This paper presents a comprehensive survey of 3D human motion editing and synthesis techniques. Firstly, four types of methods for 3D human motion synthesis are introduced and compared. Secondly, motion capture data representation, motion editing, and motion synthesis...
متن کاملLow dimensional flat manifolds with some classes of Finsler metric
Flat Riemannian manifolds are (up to isometry) quotient spaces of the Euclidean space R^n over a Bieberbach group and there are an exact classification of of them in 2 and 3 dimensions. In this paper, two classes of flat Finslerian manifolds are stuided and classified in dimensions 2 and 3.
