Demo Abstract: Development and Test with the Deployment-Support Network
نویسندگان
چکیده
The Deployment-Support Network (DSN) is a new, minimal invasive methodology for developing and testing wireless sensor networks (WSN) in a realistic environment. A device under test, e.g. a target sensor network is augmented with a redundant wireless backbone network and a second set of nodes to carry out the testing logic. Enabling a developer to test a live application scenario on the actual target hardware on-site in an actual deployment while maintaining correct operation of the system enables the coordinated development as well as reproducible and realistic profiling of the behavior of sensor network nodes.

ProFuN TG: Programming Sensornets with Task Graphs for Increased Reliability and Energy-Efficiency
Sensor network macroprogramming methodologies such as the Abstract Task Graph hold the promise of enabling high-level sensor network application development. However, progress in this area is hampered by the scarcity of tools, and also because of insufficient focus on developing tool support for programming applications aware of performance requirements. In this demo we present ProFuN TG (Task ...
متن کاملProduct Development Decision Support System Customer-Based
Quality Function Deployment (QFD) has been traditionally used as a planning tool primarily for product development and quality improvement. In this context, many people have used QFD for making decisions on how to prioritize critical product areas from a customer perspective. However, it is the position of the author that the QFD process can be viewed as a decision support system that would enc...
متن کاملFostering product development using combination of QFD and ANP: A case study
In this ever changing business scenario, success of the company lies in understanding the customer preferences, tastes and anticipating the changes required in existing or new products being offered. It was desired to develop a model which allows decision makers to decompose a complex problem in a hierarchical structure to show the relationship of the goals, objectives, criteria and alternative...
متن کاملWireless sensor network design through genetic algorithm
In this paper, we study WSN design, as a multi-objective optimization problem using GA technique. We study the effects of GA parameters including population size, selection and crossover method and mutation probability on the design. Choosing suitable parameters is a trade-off between different network criteria and characteristics. Type of deployment, effect of network size, radio communication...
متن کاملDemo Abstract: In-network Training and Distributed Event Detection in Wireless Sensor Networks
In order to avoid transmitting raw data to a base station, sensor nodes are trained to cooperatively recognize deployment-specific events based on the data sampled by their sensors. As both training and event detection are performed without the need for central coordination or processing, only information about the detected event needs to be reported.
