چکیده

In Recent high-performance embedded system technology, applications are demanding very high performance from system with minimum available hardware resource. Due to this fast development, developer integrates more functionality into a single chip (Hardware). Reconfigurable architectures can adapt the behavior of the hardware resources to a specific computation that needs to be performed. Computing using reconfigurable architectures provides an alternate paradigm to utilize the available hardware resources. High performance with limited resources needs application-specific architectures (ASIC), while flexibility requires adaptive capabilities Reconfigurable computing devices promise to meet both needs i.e. flexibility and performance. Several advancements in the field of reconfigurable computing hardware and software are promising greater design flexibility and reduced cost and time to market in embedded system development environments. But the lack of efficient software tools, simpler design methodologies and standards are hindering the complete development of reconfigurable embedded system designs. While these devices are currently available but the issue of how to design these systems is unresolved. According to these requirements, we presents a proposal of architecture model of hardware and software using reconfigurable computing applied to reconfigurable embedded system design.

Reconfigurable Architectures for Embedded Systems

Application-specific circuits are used to migrate computer systems from workstations to handheld devices that need real-time performance within the budget for physical size and energy dissipation. However, these circuits are inflexible as any modification requires redesign and refabrication, which is both expensive and time-consuming considering the complexity of recent embedded platforms. Ther...
