Interpreting Clinical Data Using Concept Maps

This abstract describes theapplication of concept mapping for assembling formation as a methodology for interpreting clinical data. This effort isintended to be a demonstration that concept mapping isa highly effective means of capturing the understanding of the problem domain associated with the expanding i formation available in today’s clinical environments. The use of concept mapping inconjunction with aMacintoshbased software tool called the Interpreter allowed clinical information to be integrated and indexed using multiple classification categories and associated keyword lists.
