Magnetic Field of Celestial Objects

چکیده
The paper discusses the possibility of interpreting the SWB conjuncture in the framework of a unified field theory. Using the generalized field theory MWT, a direct relation between the polar magnetic field, the angular velocity and the gravitational potential of the body considered, is obtained. This theoretical formula shows that the field is generated as a result of rotation of massive objects. The Schuster-WilsonBlackett form of non-minimal gravitational-electromagnetic coupling (NMGEC) is obtained from MWT.

Symplectic and symmetric methods for the numerical solution of some mathematical models of celestial objects
In the last years, the theory of numerical methods for system of non-stiff and stiff ordinary differential equations has reached a certain maturity. So, there are many excellent codes which are based on Runge–Kutta methods, linear multistep methods, Obreshkov methods, hybrid methods or general linear methods. Although these methods have good accuracy and desirable stability properties such as A...
متن کاملMagnetic Fields in Galaxies
Most of the visible matter in the Universe is ionized, so that cosmic magnetic fields are quite easy to generate and due to the lack of magnetic monopoles hard to destroy. Magnetic fields have been measured in or around practically all celestial objects, either by in-situ measurements of spacecrafts or by the electromagnetic radiation of embedded cosmic rays, gas or dust. The Earth, the Sun, so...
متن کاملMagnetic Fields of Isolated Neutron Stars: Evidence for Decay
We show, that different types of isolated neutron stars (INSs) show evidence in favor of magnetic field decay in these objects and discuss how observations of INSs can help to constrain models of field decay.
متن کاملSpectropolarimetric Survey of Hydrogen-rich White Dwarf Stars
We have conducted a survey of 61 southern white dwarfs searching for magnetic fields using Zeeman spectropolarimetry. Our objective is to obtain a magnetic field distribution for these objects and, in particular, to find white dwarfs with weak fields. We found one possible candidate (WD 0310−688) that may have a weak magnetic field of −6.1±2.2 kG. Next, we determine the fraction and distributio...
متن کاملMagnetic Phases in Dense Quark Matter
In this paper I discuss the magnetic phases of the three-flavor color superconductor. These phases can take place at different field strengths in a highly dense quark system. Given that the best natural candidates for the realization of color superconductivity are the extremely dense cores of neutron stars, which typically have very large magnetic fields, the magnetic phases here discussed coul...
