DINAS: A computer-assisted analysis system for multiobjective transshipment problems with facility location
نویسندگان
چکیده
DINAS is an interactive system to aid solving various multiobje~tive transshipment problems with facility focation using IBM-PC XT:AT or compatibles. DINAS utilizes the so-called aspiration-based (or reference point) approach to interactive handling of multiple objectives. In this approach the decision maker forms his/her requirements in terms of aspiration and reservation levels, i.e. specifies acceptable and required values for given objectives, whereas the system searches for a satisfying efficient solution by optimization of a special scalarizing achievement function. A sophisticated solver has been developed to provide DINAS with solutions to these single-objective problems. This numerical kernel of the system is, however, hidden from the user. Therefore the interactive analysis of the multiobjective problem can be performed with DINAS by a decision maker who is familiar with neither computer techniques nor mathematical programming

A multiobjective continuous covering location model
This paper presents a multiobjective continuous covering location problem in fuzzy environment. Because of uncertain covering radius, possibility of covering concept is introduced.Since, the uncertainty may cause risk of uncovering customers; the problemis formulated as a risk management model. The presented model is an extension of the discrete covering location models tocontinuous space. Two ...
متن کاملEvolutionary multiobjective optimization of the multi-location transshipment problem
We consider a multi-location inventory system where inventory choices at each location are centrally coordinated. Lateral Transshipments are allowed as recourse actions within the same echelon in the inventory system to reduce costs and improve service level. However this transshipment process usually causes undesirable lead times. In this paper, we propose a multiobjective model of the multi-l...
متن کاملGreedy Local Improvement of SPEA2 Algorithm to Solve the Multiobjective Capacitated Transshipment Problem
We consider a multi-location inventory system where inventory choices at each location are centrally coordinated through the use of lateral Transshipments. This cooperation between different locations of the same echelon level often leads to cost reduction and service level improvement. However, when some locations face embarrassing storage capacity limits, inventory sharing through transshipme...

In this paper, the issue of integrated supplier selection and inventory policy for a drug distribution company with multiple warehouses is examined. In this research, warehouses are faced with stochastic demand and inventory of their medicines is provided by one or more suppliers that are located in a given set of candidates with price, quality and characteristics of the disruption. In addition...
