Single-pixel optical camera for video rate ultrasonic imaging
نویسندگان
چکیده
A coherent-light single-pixel camera was used to interrogate a Fabry–Perot polymer film ultrasound sensor, thereby serially encoding a time-varying 2D ultrasonic field onto a single optical channel. By facilitating compressive sensing, this device enabled video rate imaging of ultrasound fields. In experimental demonstrations, this compressed sensing capability was exploited to reduce motion blur and capture dynamic features in the data. This relatively simple and inexpensive proof-ofprinciple device offers a route to high pixel count, high frame rate, broadband 2D ultrasound field mapping. © 2016

Video Processing Applications of High Speed Cmos Image Sensors
An important trend in the design of digital cameras is the integration of capture and processing onto a single CMOS chip. Although integrating the components of a digital camera system onto a single chip significantly reduces system size and power, it does not fully exploit the potential advantages of integration. We argue that a key advantage of integration is the ability to exploit the high s...

We present the Twente Optical Perfusion Camera (TOPCam), a novel laser Doppler Perfusion Imager based on CMOS technology. The tissue under investigation is illuminated and the resulting dynamic speckle pattern is recorded with a high speed CMOS camera. Based on an overall analysis of the signal-to-noise ratio of CMOS cameras, we have selected the camera which best fits our requirements. We appl...
متن کاملDirect Imaging of Anisotropic Material Properties using Photorefractive Laser Ultrasound
Anisotropic properties of materials can be determined by measuring the propagation of elastic waves in different directions. A laser imaging approach is presented that utilizes the adaptive property of photorefractive materials to produce a real-time measurement of the antisymmetric Lamb or flexural traveling wave mode displacement and phase. Continuous excitation is employed and the data is re...
متن کاملSingle-pixel three-dimensional imaging with time-based depth resolution
Time-of-flight three-dimensional imaging is an important tool for applications such as object recognition and remote sensing. Conventional time-of-flight three-dimensional imaging systems frequently use a raster scanned laser to measure the range of each pixel in the scene sequentially. Here we show a modified time-of-flight three-dimensional imaging system, which can use compressed sensing tec...
