چکیده

By means of a Q-banding technique, virtually every chromosome in two heteroploid mouse cell lines, RAG and MSWBS, has been identified. The origin of 60 to 80% of the chromosomes has been established; the remaining chromo somes can be identified as markers characteristic of the cell line. The extent of chromosome heterogeneity has been ex amined and compared in these two mouse tumor cell lines. Each line is remarkably heterogeneous and, even within a line, cells with the same total chromosome number have karyotypes that differ considerably. There are distinctive differences in the chromosomal makeup of the two lines.

Chromosomal Variation in Three Human-Mouse Hybridoma Cell Lines after Various Passaging Intervals as Assessed with Two Different Staining Methods

Objective(s) The main objective of this study was to investigate the status of chromosome stability in 3 human-mouse hybridoma cell lines over a period of time in various passages. Materials and Methods Metaphase spreads from 3 human-mouse cell lines (HF2X653, SPMO-4 and F3B6) that had been cultured in 4 successive passages, from 1 to 4 weeks, were prepared and analyzed. Metaphase chromosome...

Selective Inhibitory Effect of Adenosine A1 Receptor Agonists on the Proliferation of Human Tumor Cell Lines

Background: In this study, the effects of three structural analogues of adenosine upon proliferation of human tumor cells were investigated. Previous research showed a cytotoxic effect of adenosine via A3 receptor and A1 receptor and sometimes this effect was receptor independent. The researches showed a differential cytotoxic effect of adenosine and its A3 agonists on cancerous cells, while ot...

فراوانی آسیب‌های کروموزومی ناشی از داروی بلئومایسین سولفات در سلول‌های هیبریدومای F3B6 و HF2x653 در مقایسه با سلول‌های غیرهیبرید والدی

Background and Objective: Hybrid cells are made from fusion of two or more somatic cells. After formation chromosomes are located in one membrane . . So nucleic condition of each fused cell has changes and two genomes and chromosomes interact with each other. Locating the genes in new nucleic and cytoplasmic condition and great chromosomal rearrangement in these new formed cells can affect th...

Expression of recombination activating genes (RAG-1 and RAG-2) in Epstein-Barr virus-bearing B cells.

Recombination activating genes 1 and 2 (RAG-1 and RAG-2), are the only lymphoid-specific genes required for the site-directed recombination reaction leading to generation of B-cell receptors and T-cell receptors (TCRs). RAGs are normally expressed during a narrow window of precursor lymphocyte development. RAG expression was examined in Epstein-Barr virus (EBV)-infected B cells. No steady-state...
