PKI Key Generation Based On Multimodal Biometrics

چکیده

In this paper we introduce an efficient approach for the secure PKI key generation on the idea of multiple modalities Iris and fingerprint. Contributions embrace a general approach for trivialities point generation, distinguishable iris feature generation and a PKI key generation mechanism. The image processing techniques are used to extract a biometric measurement from the fingerprint and iris. Within the proposed methodology GPWF (Generation of PKI key With Fusion) minutiae points are extracted from the Finger print, distinguishable options are extracted from Iris then fusion at matching score level are performed. From the resultant score key are generated and this key are given as input to the cryptographic module to come up with PKI keys using RSA. It differs from previous work of using pseudo random range to come up with cryptographic keys. Thereby, a extended and a lot of distinguishable bit stream will be generated for PKI key generation. The designed proposed system is experimented with the Matlab (Matlab7.4). For experimentation, the fingerprint and iris pictures from publicly accessible databases are used.
