چکیده

seems hardly tenable with the evidence before one, which is to be found in more recent medical publications; and, although what I can produce is undoubtedly limited in amount, and very often imperfect from being merely abstracts of more detailed papers, it is still sufficient to show how diversified are the opinions held on these points, and also that the influence of quinine on the womb must be still viewed as a " quocstio vexata." Allowing that such is the case, it will be readily granted that the question is of some importance, especially in India, where malarious diseases are so prevalent, and where as a consequence quinine is so largely used; and as I cannot pretend, with the materials at command, to arrive at any very definite or authoritative conclusion on the points in question, my aim in publishing these notes will be fully gained if they prove the
