Command Governors for Constrained Nonlinear Systems: Linearization-based Strategies

چکیده
A comparison between two diierent command governors strategies (CG) is described. A CG is a nonlinear device which is added to a primal compensated system. The CG action, based on the current state, set-point and prescribed constraints, is nalized to select, at any time, a command sequence under which the constraints are possibly fulllled with acceptable tracking performance. The two CG's diier in that one directly exploits the nonlinear model of the primal system, whereas the other is based on the property that, under some conditions, all trajectories of a nonlinear system are embedded within the trajectories of a linear diierential inclusion. An example is presented so as to exhibit the relative merits of the methods.

Command Governors for Constrained Nonlinear Systems: Direct Nonlinear vs. Linearization-based Strategies
Two command governors (CG) are described for solving set-point tracking problems for nonlinear systems when pointwise-in-time input and/or state related inequality constraints have to be fulllled. متن کاملCommand governors for constrained nonlinear systems
A method is described for set-point tracking in nonlinear systems when pointwise-in-time input and/or state inequality constraints are to be enforced. It consists of adding to a primal compensated system a nonlinear device called command governor (CG) whose action is based on the current state, set-point and prescribed constraints. The CG selects at any time the system input via a receding-hori...
متن کاملConstrained linear systems with hard constraints and disturbances: An extended command governor with large domain of attraction
This paper considers a nonlinear feedback control policy that is an extension of those provided by command governors and reference governors. As in these control approaches it applies to discrete-time linear systems with hard constraints and set bounded disturbances. The control policy retains the main properties of traditional governors, such as straightforward direct implementation and finite...
متن کاملReference and command governors for systems with constraints: A survey on theory and applications
Reference and command governors are add-on control schemes which enforce state and control constraints on pre-stabilized systems by modifying, whenever necessary, the reference. This paper surveys the extensive literature concerning the development of such schemes for linear and nonlinear systems. The treatment of unmeasured disturbances and parametric uncertainties is also detailed. Generaliza...
متن کاملTime-Invariant State Feedback Control Laws for a Special Form of Underactuated Nonlinear Systems Using Linear State Bisection
Linear state bisection is introduced as a new method to find time-invariant state feedback control laws for a special form of underactuated nonlinear systems. The specialty of the systems considered is that every unactuated state should be coupled with at least two directly actuated states. The basic idea is based on bisecting actuated states and using linear combinations with adjustable parame...
