A Review on Grid System and Mobile Devices

This paper highlights the expansion of grid computing system with mobile environments where mobile nodes successfully imbibe into the grid either as service recipients or as more valuable service provider. The integration of grid computing and mobile devices generates lots of challenges in front of the user of grid with mobile devices. Due to mobile nature of wireless devices and limitations of wireless communications a number of unique challenges must be overcome when building a grid application for such devices. On the basis of available grid architecture, we try to figure out what would be the newly required services in mobile and grid integration. There are a number of issues while talking about mobile environment, such as intermittent connectivity of devices, device heterogeneity, job scheduling, limited battery power and security. Among these issues, we try to focus on challenges in integration of mobile and grid environment.
