I t is g e n e r a l l y a d v i s a b l e t o o b s e r v e a n i s c h e m i c leg for a t l eas t a few d a y s a n d t o t a k e c o n s e r v a t i v e m e a s u r e s , b o t h l oca l a n d b y m e a n s o f 1 0 % D e x t r a n by i n t r a v e n o u s d r i p .
