Observer design for dissipative multivalued dynamical systems

چکیده
This paper deals with the design of state observers for a class of systems with set-valued right-handsides. Two main classes of set-valued mappings are considered: maximal monotone and time-invariant; or normal cones to possibly time-varying sets (not necessarily convex). Such controlled systems can be embedded in various kinds of differential inclusions with absolutely continuous and bounded variation solutions (inclusions with maximal monotone multivalued mappings, and the perturbed Moreau’s sweeping process), using a suitable state space transformation. The well-posedness properties of the observers dynamics are carefully analyzed. The stability of the observation error is proved. Then the problem of stabilization with a feedback control using the estimated state is studied in a particular case. Most of the results rely on rendering some suitable operator dissipative (or SPR in the linear case). RELATIVE INFORMATION FUNCTIONAL OF RELATIVE DYNAMICAL SYSTEMS
In this paper by use of mathematical modeling of an observer [14,15] the notion of relative information functional for relative dynamical systemson compact metric spaces is presented. We extract the information function ofan ergodic dynamical system (X,T) from the relative information of T fromthe view point of observer χX, where X denotes the base space of the system. We also generalize the in...
متن کاملDissipativity-based Globally Convergent Observer Design for a Class of Tubular Reactors
The problem of designing a globally convergent observer for a class of tubular reactors with boundary measurements is addressed. The problem is tackled by extending a dissipativity theory-based observer design for nonlinear finite-dimensional systems, which has been recently applied to a class of continuous stirred tank reactors. The underlying idea of the proposed observer approach consists in...

متن کاملStability and Observer Design for a Class of Nonsmooth Dynamical Systems with Nonconvex State Constraints
This paper deals with the stability and observer design for Lur’e systems with multivalued nonlinearities, which are not necessarily monotone or time-invariant. Such differential inclusions model the motion of state trajectories which are constrained to evolve inside timevarying non-convex sets. Using Lyapunov-based analysis, sufficient conditions are proposed for local stability in such system...
متن کاملAttractors for Nonautonomous Multivalued Evolution Systems Generated by Time-dependent Subdifferentials
In a real separable Hilbert space, we consider nonautonomous evolution equations including time-dependent subdifferentials and their nonmonotone multivalued perturbations. In this paper, we treat the multivalued dynamical systems associated with time-dependent subdifferentials, in which the solution is not unique for a given initial state. In particular, we discuss the asymptotic behaviour of o...
