Controversies in Cardiovascular Research

چکیده
The first two articles in this issue of CIRCULATION RESEARCH by Jos A. E. Spaan and Francis /. Klocke et al. address various aspects of coronary pressure-flow relationships which have been a matter of some controversy in recent years. Issues such as the physiological significance of zero flow pressure and the role of intramyocardial compliance are important for our understanding of the regulation of coronary blood flow. We plan to publish responses from each author in a later issue of the journal.
