چکیده

All the R-parity violating tree-level contributions to the flavor violating μ − e conversion in a nucleus have been studied in the minimal supersymmetric model including the trilinear and the bilinear terms in the superpotential as well as in the soft supersymmetry breaking sector. In calculating the μ−−e− conversion rate the nucleon and nuclear structure have consistently been taken into account. We have found that the previously overlooked contribution of the strange quark sea in the nucleon is comparable with the contribution of the valence quarks. From the available experimental data on μ − e conversion in 48T i and 208Pb we have extracted new stringent limits on the R-parity violating parameters. PACS: 12.60Jv, 12.15.-y, 11.30.Fs, 23.40.Bw

The flavor violating μ − e conversion in nuclei is studied within the minimal supersymmetric standard model. We focus on the R-parity violating contributions at tree level including the trilinear and the bilinear terms in the superpotential as well as in the soft supersymmetry breaking sector. The nucleon and nuclear structure have consistently been taken into account in the expression of the μ...

More on R − parity and lepton – family number violating couplings from muon ( ium ) conversion , and τ and π 0 decays

We present a new class of constraints to the lepton–family number and R−parity violating couplings from muonium conversion, μ− + 48 22Ti → e− + 48 22Ti, a class of tau decays, τ → l+ (light meson) with l = μ or e, and J/ψ and π0 decays into a lepton pair. We find that μ− + 48 22Ti → e− + 48 22Ti provides one of the strongest constraints along with ∆mK ,∆mB, μ → eγ and the neutrinoless double β ...

New constraints on R-parity violation from μ–e conversion in nuclei

We derive new constraints on the products of explicitly R-parity violating couplings λ and λ in MSSM from searches for μ–e conversion in nuclei. We concentrate on the loop induced photonic coherent conversion mode. For the combinations |λλ| which in μ–e conversion can be probed only at loop level our constraints are in many cases more stringent than the previous ones due to the enhancement of t...

The tree-level contributions to the flavor violating μ − e conversion in a nucleus are derived in the minimal supersymmetric model with general case of R-parity violation including the trilinear and the bilinear R-parity violating terms in the superpotential and in the soft supersymmetry breaking sector. Calculating the μ − e conversion rate we consistently take into account the nucleon and nuc...

Lepton-Flavour Violation in Supersymmetric Models with Trilinear R-parity Violation

Supersymmetry with R-parity violation (RPV) provides an interesting framework for naturally accommodating small neutrino masses. Within this framework, we discuss the lepton-flavour violating (LFV) processes μ → eγ, μ → eee, and μ → e conversion in nuclei. We make a detailed study of the observables related to LFV in different RPV models, and compare them to the expectations of R-conserving sup...
