Math 229a Fall 2014 Class Notes
نویسنده
چکیده
Please let me know if you find any mistakes! Friday, October 3, 2014. Grading will be based on an exam on Friday, December 12. Groups of general interest often have some additional natural structure: Topological groups, Lie groups. From Lie groups, we get Lie algebras via a standard procedure in differential topology. There’s also an association in the reverse direction, from Lie algebras to Lie groups. Also of interest are the representations of Lie groups and Lie algebras (“actions on vector spaces”). Diagram:

Homological Algebra - Lecture Notes Lectures by Paul Balmer Notes by Geunho Gim
These notes are based on the course Math 212, Homological Algebra given by professor Paul Balmer on Spring 2014. Most of these notes were live-TEXed in class. The footnotes are added by me.
متن کاملArithmetic of Elliptic Curves
Here are the notes I am taking for Wei Zhang’s ongoing course on the arithmetic of elliptic curves offered at Columbia University in Fall 2014 (MATH G6761: Topics in Arithmetic Geometry). As the course progresses, these notes will be revised. I recommend that you visit my website from time to time for the most updated version. Due to my own lack of understanding of the materials, I have inevita...
متن کاملModular Forms
Here are the notes I took for Wei Zhang’s course on modular forms offered at Columbia University in Spring 2013 (MATH G4657: Algebraic Number Theory). Hopefully these notes will appear in a more complete form during Fall 2014. I recommend that you visit my website from time to time for the most updated version. Due to my own lack of understanding of the materials, I have inevitably introduced b...

متن کاملMath 55b Lecture Notes
This is Harvard College’s famous Math 55b, instructed by Dennis Gaitsgory. The formal name for this class is “Honors Real and Complex Analysis” but it generally goes by simply “Math 55b”. It is an accelerated one-semester class covering the basics of analysis, primarily real but also some complex analysis. The permanent URL is http://web.evanchen.cc/~evanchen/coursework. html, along with all my...
