چکیده

■ ■ 80% reduction in analysis time enables high throughput analysis IN T RODUC T ION Benzalkonium Chloride (BAC) refers to a series of quaternary ammonium chloride homologues with the structure shown in Figure 1. The pervasive use of BAC in consumer products results from its antiseptic and antifungal properties with widespread applications ranging from cleaning products and disinfectants to sanitizing wipes and ophthalmic solutions. Because of its extensive use, BAC has been the subject of numerous studies, including the evaluation of the reactivity of BAC with ocular tissue and the study of worldwide municipal wastewater, which found BAC to be the most prevalent quaternary ammonium compound in wastewater, with concentrations ranging between 200 and 300 mg/L.

Development and Validation of a Stability-Indicating RP-UPLC Method for Determination of Rosuvastatin and Related Substances in Pharmaceutical Dosage Form

A stability-indicating reversed phase ultra performance liquid chromatographic (RP-UPLC) method was developed for the determination of related substances in rosuvastatin calcium (ROSV) tablet dosage form. The chromatographic separation was achieved on an Acquity BEH C18 (100 mm × 2.1 mm, 1.7 μm) column with mobile phase containing a gradient mixture of solvent-A (0.1% trifluoroacetic acid) and ...

Photodegradation assessment of ciprofloxacin, moxifloxacin, norfloxacin and ofloxacin in the presence of excipients from tablets by UPLC-MS/MS and DSC

BACKGROUND Ciprofloxacin (CIP), moxifloxacin (MOX), norfloxacin (NOR) and ofloxacin (OFL), are the antibacterial synthetic drugs, belonging to the fluoroquinolones group. Fluoroquinolones are compounds susceptible to photodegradation process, which may lead to reduction of their antibacterial activity and to induce phototoxicity as a side effect. This paper describes a simple, sensitive UPLC-MS...
