Simple moving-average formulae for the direct recovery of the relaxation spectrum

چکیده
Different software packages are available commercially which can be applied to oscillatory shear data to recover an estimate of the relaxation spectrum of the viscoelastic material tested. The underlying algorithms, based on some form of regularization, are indirect and technically involved. Davies and Anderssen @J. Non-Newtonian Fluid Mech. 73, 163–179 ~1997!# have derived exact sampling localization results for the determination of elastic moduli from ~exact! storage and loss moduli. It is now shown how their results can be exploited to construct simple and explicit moving-average formulae which recover estimates of the relaxation spectrum from oscillatory shear data, with realistic observational errors. Explicit moving-average formulae are presented which experimentalists can apply immediately to appropriately sampled oscillatory shear measurements. The given formulae are validated on noisy data obtained from synthetic relaxation spectra. © 2001 The Society of Rheology. @DOI: 10.1122/1.1332787#

NUMBER OF SPANNING TREES FOR DIFFERENT PRODUCT GRAPHS
In this paper simple formulae are derived for calculating the number of spanning trees of different product graphs. The products considered in here consists of Cartesian, strong Cartesian, direct, Lexicographic and double graph. For this purpose, the Laplacian matrices of these product graphs are used. Form some of these products simple formulae are derived and whenever direct formulation was n...
متن کاملProfitability of Iranian Stock Market Based on Technical Analysis Trading Rules
In this study, we focused on Tehran stock exchange market analysis based on applying moving average rules. The Tehran stock exchange in the Middle East has evolved into an exciting and growing marketplace where individual and institutional investor trade securities of over 420 companies. In an attempt to examine the ability to earn excess return by exploiting moving average rules, the average a...
متن کاملDerivative Based Algorithms for Continuous Relaxation Spectrum Recovery
Historically, it has always been understood that the relaxation spectra of linear viscoelastic materials are continuous. Nevertheless, because of their ease of implementation computationally, delta function recovery methods have been and continue to be important, even though they do not generate continuous approximations. Derivative based recovery techniques were popular in the precomputer days...
متن کاملApproximate Closed-form Formulae for Buckling Analysis of Rectangular Tubes under Torsion
The buckling torque may be much less than the yield torque in very thin rectangular tubes under torsion. In this paper, simple closed-form formulae are presented for buckling analysis of long hollow rectangular tubes under torsion. By the presented formulae, one can obtain the critical torque or the critical angle of twist of the tube in terms of its geometrical parameters and material constant...
متن کاملMathematical Analysis of Shearing Viscoelastic Beam Subjected to Continuous Moving Load
In this paper, the dynamic response of a viscoelastic beam subjected to a moving distributed load has been studied. The viscoelastic properties of the beam have been considered as linear standard model in shear and incompressible in bulk. The stress components have been separated to the shear and dilatation components and as a result the governing equations in viscoelastic form has been obtaine...
