Parametrized Types for C++
نویسنده
چکیده
Type parameterization is the ability to defrne a type in terms of another, unspecifled, type. Versions of the parameterized type may then be created for several particular parameter types. A language supporting type parameterization allows specification ofgeneral container types such as list, vector, and associative array where the specific type of the elements is left as a parameter. Thus, a parameterized class specifies an unbounded set of related types; for example: list of int, list of name, list of shape, etc. Type parameterization is one way of making a language more extensible.

On the rank of certain parametrized elliptic curves
In this paper the family of elliptic curves over Q given by the equation Ep :Y2 = (X - p)3 + X3 + (X + p)3 where p is a prime number, is studied. Itis shown that the maximal rank of the elliptic curves is at most 3 and someconditions under which we have rank(Ep(Q)) = 0 or rank(Ep(Q)) = 1 orrank(Ep(Q))≥2 are given.
متن کامل0 A functional - analytic theory of vertex ( operator ) algebras , II
For a finitely-generated vertex operator algebra V of central charge c ∈ C, a locally convex topological completion HV is constructed. We construct on HV a structure of an algebra over the operad of the c 2 -th power Det c/2 of the determinant line bundle Det over the moduli space of genus-zero Riemann surfaces with ordered analytically parametrized boundary components. In particular, HV is a m...
متن کاملEstimation of normal covariance matrices parametrized by irreducible symmetric cones under Stein’s loss
In this paper the problem of estimating a covariance matrix parametrized by an irreducible symmetric cone in a decision-theoretic set-up is considered. By making use of some results developed in a theory of finite-dimensional Euclidean simple Jordan algebras, Bartlett’s decomposition and an unbiased risk estimate formula for a general family of Wishart distributions on the irreducible symmetric...
متن کاملGenericity through Constrained Types
Modern object-oriented languages such as X10 require a rich framework for types capable of expressing valuedependency, type-dependency and supporting pluggable, application-specific extensions. In earlier work, we presented the framework of constrained types for concurrent, object-oriented languages, parametrized by an underlying constraint system C . Constraint systems are a very expressive fr...
متن کاملSelf-adjoint Wheeler-DeWitt operators, the problem of time, and the wave function of the Universe.
We discuss minisuperspace aspects a non empty Robertson-Walker universe containing scalar matter field. The requirement that the Wheeler-DeWitt (WDW) operator be self adjoint is a key ingredient in constructing the physical Hilbert space and has non-trivial cosmological implications since it is related with the problem of time in quantum cosmology. Namely, if time is parametrized by matter fiel...
