A Reference Architecture for Distributed Software Deployment

چکیده
The goal of this thesis is to design a reference architecture for distributed software deployment, utilising the Nix package manager which implements the purely functional deployment model. Nix offers several unique advantages over conventional deployment approaches. Because this deployment model is relatively unknown, this chapter explains the background concepts. The concepts described in this chapter are earlier scientific contributions and updated to reflect the implementation as it is today.
