چکیده

*Internet Systems Research Laboratories †Vice President, Central Research Laboratories This paper presents the concept of symbiotic evolution which aims to provide a better individual quality of life as well as an improved standard of work. Symbiotic evolution is a co-evolution process linking human activities and ubiquitous systems. We also discuss key technical challenges explaining three research projects. We continue to develop human-centered, environmentally-adaptive ubiquitous systems in order to enhance the applicability of symbiotic evolution.

Modeling the evolution of cells outgrowth due to the force exerted by actins

Motility and membrane deformation are crucial to motile cells. Therefore formation of protrusion in the membrane has been the subject of various studies. The stable shape of the membrane and also its movements are controlled by the forces exerted by actin filaments. In order to study the protrusion behavior, we represented a toy model based on actin filaments polar characteristic and elastic ch...

Concept of Symbiotic Computing and its Agent-Based Application to a Ubiquitous Care-Support Service

In this paper, a concept of “symbiotic computing” is formalized to bridge gaps between Real Space (RS) and Digital Space (DS). Symbiotic computing is a post-ubiquitous computing model based on an agent-oriented computing model that introduces social heuristics and cognitive functions into DS to bridge the gaps. The symbiotic functions and agent-based architecture of symbiotic applications are a...
