چکیده

Family Caregivers: The Backbone of Long Term Care Lynn Friss Feinberg, National Center on Caregiving Lynn Friss Feinberg, MSW, is Deputy Director of the National Center on Caregiving at the San Francisco-based Family Caregiver Alliance. She was director and first author of a recently completed 50-state survey, funded by the U.S. Administration on Aging, to profile the “State of the States in Family Caregiver Support.” In recent years her research has focused on choice and decision-making for persons with cognitive impairment and their families, and she is co-investigator of a longitudinal study of caregiver mental health. She has served on numerous national advisory committees and panels addressing long-term care issues and is an author on over 40 publications. Ms. Feinberg holds a master’s degree in social welfare and gerontology from the University of California at Berkeley.
