چکیده

Western Ontario, London, Ontario, Canada. Received for publication October 28, 1964; revised May 21, 1965. fluence of hormonal stimulation and Nandi (42) empha sized the importance of the milk agent in inducing hy PerPlastic alveolar nodules and eventual tumor. 1\Iice without the milk agent may be infected by ingestion or injection of milk, by injection of semen (5, 38), or by transplantation of mammary tumor and other tissues (7) so that they subsequentlyacquiremammarycancers. But milk-agent-free mice may also develop mammary cancer without being infected with the milk agent (23). The infectivity of the milk agent and development of mammary cancer in mammary grafts from milk-agent free donors in agent-positive host mice or in mammary glands of the hosts of milk-agent-free mice receiving grafts from milk-agent-positive donor mice were studied in con junction with different hormonal influences.

Canine Mammary Gland Cancer Stem Cell and its Potential Role in Malignant Biologic Behavior

BACKGROUND:Canine mammary gland cancers are the most prevalent malignancies in dogs. There are different challenges regarding management of these cancers in dogs and human, one hypothesis is related to small cellular subset of tumor mass called cancer stem cell. These cells are therapy resistant and cause metastasis and relapse even after primary successful treatment. The well-identified phenot...

Tumor Induction in Transplanted Mammary Glands in Rats.

Mammary glands were successfully transplanted from randombred Sprague-Dawley rats to recipients, irrespective of whether the transplants were autografts or homografts. Homologous transplantation of mammary glands was successful in both littermates and nonlitterJDates. Surviving grafts had the histological appearance of nonnalmammary glands and functioned like the nOrJDal mammary glands of the r...

Differential Expression of Alpha S1 Casein and Beta-Lactoglobulin Genes at Different Physiological stages of the Adani Goats Mammary Glands

Background: Milk proteins genes have been the focus of the researches as the candidate target genes that play a decisive role when animal breeding is desired. Objectives: In the present study, the transcriptional levels of Beta-lactoglobulin (BLG) and Alpha S1 casein (CSN1S1) genes were investigated during prenatal, milking and drying times in mammary glands of the Adani goats which showed...
