His Bundle Electrocardiography during Bidirectional Tachycardia By STEPHEN

چکیده
His bundle electrocardiography in a patient with a digitalis-induced bidirectional tachycardia revealed absence of His spike preceding earliest onset of ventricular activation during the bidirectional tachycardia. However, His potential preceded ventricular activation of normal complexes at a constant H-V interval of 35 msec. The presence of fusion QRS complexes, capture QRS complexes, the analysis of cycle lengths, and response to carotid sinus massage all favor a ventricular origin for this tachycardia in the patient presented.

متن کاملHis bundle electrogram during bidirectional tachycardia.
The case is reported of a 66-year-old woman with bidirectional tachycardia caused by digitalis intoxication. His bundle records demonstrated the presence of two foci, one junctional and the other a fascicular one.
متن کاملCASE REPORTS Ventricular Origin of Bidirectional Tachycardia
Electrophysiological, hemodynamic and angiographic studies were performed on an 18 year old woman with asymptomatic recurrent bidirectional tachycardia of eight years' duration and mild hyperkalemic periodic paralysis. Multiple surface electrocardiograms and His bundle and right atrial electrograms revealed that 1) all beats during bidirectional tachycardia originated in the left ventricle; 2) ...
متن کاملPapillary Muscle Ventricular Tachycardia Masquerading as Bidirectional Ventricular Tachycardia
Introduction: Bidirectional ventricular tachycardia (VT) is a rare type of VT that appears in digoxin toxicity and young patients with catecholaminergic polymorphic VT (CPVT). The occurrence of bidirectional VT originating from the papillary muscle has not been reported in the literature. Case Presentation: A 38-year-old female presented with long standing palpitation lasting several months. Pa...
