Simple linear algorithms for mining graph cores

چکیده

Batagelj and Zaversnik proposed a linear algorithm for the wellknown k-core decomposition problem. However, when k-cores are desired for a given k, we find that a simple linear algorithm requiring no sorting works for mining k-cores. In addition, this algorithm can be extended to mine (k1, k2, . . . , kp)-cores from p-partite graphs in linear time, and this mining approach can be efficiently implemented in a distributed computing environment with a lower message complexity bound in comparison with the best known method of distributed k-core decomposition.

Application Mapping onto Network-on-Chip using Bypass Channel

Increasing the number of cores integrated on a chip and the problems of system on chips caused to emerge networks on chips. NoCs have features such as scalability and high performance. NoCs architecture provides communication infrastructure and in this way, the blocks were produced that their communication with each other made NoC. Due to increasing number of cores, the placement of the cores i...

Automatic Discovery of Technology Networks for Industrial-Scale R&D IT Projects via Data Mining

Industrial-Scale R&D IT Projects depend on many sub-technologies which need to be understood and have their risks analysed before the project can begin for their success. When planning such an industrial-scale project, the list of technologies and the associations of these technologies with each other is often complex and form a network. Discovery of this network of technologies is time consumi...

ON COMPOSITION FACTORS OF A GROUP WITH THE SAME PRIME GRAPH AS Ln(5)

The prime graph of a finite group $G$ is denoted by$ga(G)$. A nonabelian simple group $G$ is called quasirecognizable by primegraph, if for every finite group $H$, where $ga(H)=ga(G)$, thereexists a nonabelian composition factor of $H$ which is isomorphic to$G$. Until now, it is proved that some finite linear simple groups arequasirecognizable by prime graph, for instance, the linear groups $L_...

Recognition by prime graph of the almost simple group PGL(2, 25)

Throughout this paper, every groups are finite. The prime graph of a group $G$ is denoted by $Gamma(G)$. Also $G$ is called recognizable by prime graph if for every finite group $H$ with $Gamma(H) = Gamma(G)$, we conclude that $Gcong H$. Until now, it is proved that if $k$ is an odd number and $p$ is an odd prime number, then $PGL(2,p^k)$ is recognizable by prime graph. So if $k$ is even, the r...

Cohesive Subgraph Mining on Attributed Graph

Finding cohesive subgraphs is a fundamental graph problem with a wide spectrum of applications. In this paper, we investigate this problem in the context of attributed graph, where each vertex is associated with content (e.g., geo-locations, tags and keywords). To properly capture the cohesiveness of the vertices in a subgraph from both graph structure and vertices attribute perspectives, we ad...
