Advanced Automation in ATM Disturbances Assessment

In the context of an ever increasing complexity in ATM this paper proposes an automated assessment of new procedures and concepts and the impact into global and specific airspace via a simulated Air Traffic (ATM) environment. To this purpose, t the development of a complex system (system of systems) to analyse the effect of Wake Vortices to trailing aircrafts in the different flight phases. This project AVANT: a project part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) under the Regional Competitiveness and Employment.
