The “RFID from Farm to Fork” project proposal for food industry traceability

This paper highlights the objectives and activities of the European project “RFID from Farm to Fork”, which is focused on the food industry traceability. The final goal is to extend the traceability information to the final consumer, so these persons could feel the confidence on the food origin like our grandparents did when they lived in a less globalised World. The activities of the project in a winery at Ribeiro denomination of origin (Spain) are also presented along the paper, in order to show some of the project outcomes.
