On Nodal Transport Methods

چکیده
Two new classes of nodal methods, respectively weakly and strongly discontinuous ones, are introduced and applied to the neutron transport equations in X-Y geometry in the discrete ordinates approximation. These methods are then applied to approximate the solution of a well-known benchmark problem of the nuclear engineering literature. The results obtained are nally compared to the ones obtained by recent classical nodal methods. Ces m ethodes sont ensuite utilis ees pour l'approximation de la solution d'un probl eme de r ef e-rence bien connu de la lit erature d'ing enierie nucl eaire. Les r esultats obtenus sont nalement compar es a ceux obtenus par des m ethodes nodales classiques r ecentes.
