A MOF-based Metamodel and UML Syntax for Networked Ontologies

چکیده
Next generation semantic applications will be characterized by a large number of networked ontologies; as a consequence the complexity of semantic applications increases. In this paper we present a metamodel and a UML syntax for the specification of networked ontologies. For the specification of the metamodel, we follow the metamodeling approach of Model Driven Architecures.

A Metamodel and UML Profile for Networked Ontologies – The Complete Reference
In this paper we present integrated MOF compliant metamodels and UML profiles for OWL DL, the Semantic Web Rule Language (SWRL) and Ontology Mappings. Based on these metamodels and profiles, UML tools can be used for visual modeling of rule-extended ontologies and ontology mappings.

متن کاملMOF-based Metamodeling for the XTT Knowledge Representation
This paper concerns the metamodel of the XTT rule-based knowledge representation. XTT is a knowledge representation and design method which aims at combining decision trees and decision tables. As the pure XTT method required dedicated tools to design systems, the UML representation has been developed. The abstract syntax of UML is defined by the UML metamodel. This paper introduces the metamod...
متن کاملExploiting the ASM method within the Model-driven Engineering paradigm
Model-driven Engineering (MDE) [3] is an emerging approach for software development and analysis where models play the fundamental role of first-class artifacts. Metamodelling is a key concept of the MDE paradigm and it is intended as a modular and layered way to endow a language or a formalism with an abstract notation, so separating the abstract syntax and semantics of the language constructs...
