چکیده

We perform a numerical study using both determinantal and constrain path Monte Carlo methods to investigate the magnetic and pairing properties of the single-band Hubbard model on the triangular lattice. We find that the system in the filling region n =1.5–1.85 shows a short-ranged ferromagnetic correlation, and the on-site Coulomb interaction tends to strengthen ferromagnetic fluctuation slightly. It is shown that the large density of states near the Van Hove singularity point plays an important role in the enhancement of ferromagnetic fluctuation. In the ferromagnetic region, we observe that the f-wave pairing correlation tends to increase faster than other pairing correlations. However, it is subtle to stabilize the f-wave pairing since the effective pairing interaction was found to be very small.

Spin-fluctuation exchange study of superconductivity in two- and three-dimensional single-band Hubbard models

In order to identify the most favorable situation for superconductivity in the repulsive single-band Hubbard model, we have studied instabilities for d-wave pairing mediated by antiferromagnetic spin fluctuations and p-pairing mediated by ferromagnetic fluctuations with the fluctuation exchange approximation in both two dimensions and three dimensions. By systematically varying the band filling...

روش انتگرال مسیر برای مدل ‌هابارد تک نواره

We review various ways to express the partition function of the single-band Hubard model as a path integral. The emphasis is made on the derivation of the action in the integrand of the path integral and the results obtained from this approach are discussed only briefly.   Since the single-band Hubbard model is a pure fermionic model on the lattice and its Hamiltonian is a polynomial in creat...

Magnetic Properties in a Spin-1 Random Transverse Ising Model on Square Lattice

In this paper we investigate the effect of a random transverse field, distributed according to a trimodal distribution, on the phase diagram and magnetic properties of a two-dimensional lattice (square with z=4),  ferromagnetic Ising system consisting of magnetic atoms with spin-1. This study is done using the effectivefield theory (EFT) with correlations method. The equations are derived using...

Ferromagnetic fluctuation and superconductivity in Na0.35CoO2·1.3H2O:FLEX study ofmulti-orbital Hubbardmodel

Spin and charge fluctuations and superconductivity in Na0.35CoO2·1.3H2O are studied based on a multi-orbital Hubbard model. By applying the fluctuation exchange (FLEX) approximation, we show that the Hund’s-rule coupling between the Co t2g orbitals causes ferromagnetic spin fluctuation. Triplet pairing is favored by this ferromagnetic fluctuation on the hole-pocket band. We propose that, in Na0...

Magnetic correlations in the Hubbard model on triangular and Kagomé lattices.

In order to study the magnetic properties of frustrated metallic systems, we present, for the first time, quantum Monte Carlo data on the magnetic susceptibility of the Hubbard model on triangular and kagomé lattices. We show that the underlying lattice structure determines the nature and the doping dependence of the magnetic fluctuations. In particular, in the doped kagomé case we find strong ...
