چکیده
GMF: granulomatous mycosis fungoides INF-a: interferon alfa MF: mycosis fungoides TCR: T-cell receptor G ranulomatous mycosis fungoides (GMF) is an unusual histologic subtype of cutaneous T-cell lymphoma. The diagnosis of GMF is usually established after observation of a granulomatous inflammatory reaction associated with a malignant lymphoid infiltrate. Epidermotropism, a clue to diagnosis in classical mycosis fungoides (MF) may be absent in about 47% of cases of GMF. In some instances, the granulomatous component may be intense and obscures the lymphomatous component of the infiltrate. There are no distinctive clinical patterns associated with GMF.

Granulomatous mycosis fungoides - A diagnostic challenge*
Granulomatous mycosis fungoides is a rare subtype of T-cell cutaneous lymphoma. Due to its clinical heterogenicity the diagnosis is delayed and based on histopathological and immuno-histochemical findings, sometimes requiring gene rearrangement studies for confirmation. We report the case of a patient who was submitted to several biopsies before diagnostic conclusion.
متن کاملGranulomatous slack skin: a distinct disorder or a variant of mycosis fungoides?
About 75% of cutaneous lymphomas belong to the group of T-cell lymphomas. Mycosis fungoides is the most common entity in this group. Granulomatous slack skin is a rare form of cutaneous T-cell lymphoma closely related to mycosis fungoides. We present here a patient with areas of lax skin for several years who developed a generalized erythroderma with associated immunoactivation and a deteriorat...
متن کاملBullous mycosis fungoides: report of a case
Mycosis fungoides is a common form of cutaneous T-cell lymphoma, with characteristic histopathology and chronic clinical course. Vesiculobullous mycosis fungoides is a rare occurrence. Here we present a 55-year-old man with multiple bullous plaques of one year duration who was finally diagnosed as a case of mycosis fungoides.
متن کاملPrognostic factors in cutaneous T-cell lymphoma
Cutaneous T-cell lymphoma (CTCL) are a heterogeneous group of neoplasms of skin-homing T cells that show considerable variation in clinical presentation, histological appearance, immunophenotype and prognosis. In recent classification schemes (WHO-EORTC; WHO 2008) roughly three categories of CTCL can be distinguished: (1) the group of classical CTCL, including mycosis fungoides (MF, variants or...
متن کاملThe role of chemokines and chemokine receptors in mycosis fungoides
Background: Chemokines are a family of cytokines initially characterized by their capacity to induce chemotaxis, or directed leukocyte migrations. These receptors are activated by chemotactic cytokines called chemokines. Interactions between chemokines and chemokine receptors also are involved in tumorigenesis, migration and invasion of lymphoma cells. Methods: An English literature search...
