ASYMPTOTIC BEHAVIOR OF NONOSCILLATORY SOLUTIONS OF HIGHER-ORDER INTEGRO-DYNAMIC EQUATIONS Martin Bohner, Said Grace, and Nasrin Sultana Communicated by Alexander Domoshnitsky Abstract. In this paper, we establish some new criteria on the asymptotic behavior of nonoscillatory solutions of higher-order integro-dynamic equations on time scales.

Oscillatory behavior of integro-dynamic and integral equations on time scales

By making use of asymptotic properties of nonoscillatory solutions the oscillation behavior of solutions for the integro-dynamic equation x(t) = e(t) − ∫ t 0 k(t, s)f(s, x(s))∆s, t ≥ 0 and the integral equation x(t) = e(t) − ∫ t 0 k(t, s)f(s, x(s))∆s, t ≥ 0 on time-scales are investigated. Easily verifiable sufficient conditions are established for the oscillation of all solutions. The results ...

On a Class of Fourth-order Nonlinear Difference Equations

We consider a class of fourth-order nonlinear difference equations. The classification of nonoscillatory solutions is given. Next, we divide the set of solutions of these equations into two types: F+and F−-solutions. Relations between these types of solutions and their nonoscillatory behavior are obtained. Necessary and sufficient conditions are obtained for the difference equation to admit the...

Classification of Nonoscillatory Solutions of Higher Order Neutral Type Difference Equations

The authors consider the diierence equation () m yn ? pny n?k ] + qny (n+m?1) = 0 f(n)g is a sequence of integers with (n) n and limn!1 (n) = 1. They obtain results on the classiication of the set of nonoscillatory solutions of () and use a xed point method to show the existence of solutions having certain types of asymptotic behavior. Examples illustrating the results are included.

Nonoscillatory Solutions of Second Order Differential Equations with Integrable Coefficients

The asymptotic behavior of nonoscillatory solutions of the equation x" + a{t)\x\' sgnx = 0, y > 0 , is discussed under the condition that A(t) = limr_00/, a(s)ds exists and A(t) > 0 for all t. For the sublinear case of 0 < y < 1 , the existence of at least one nonoscillatory solution is completely characterized.

Oscillation and Asymptotic Behaviour of Solutions of Second Order Neutral Differential Equations with Positive and Negative Coefficients

Sufficient conditions in terms of the coefficient functions for the oscillation and asymptotic behavior of nonoscillatory solutions of a class of second order nonlinear neutral differential equations have been obtained. The results improve some earlier results.
