چکیده

Many authors have reported different useful studies in evaluating vestibular function through vestibular, somatosensory, and visuocortical systems using the test of balance and in assessing vestibular function through the vestibulospinal system using craniocorpography. We researched 100 patients suffering from tinnitus and vertigo (36 men and 64 women). Diagnoses of vestibular dysfunction can be improved if modern physicians correlate the background, clinical description, and vestibular test results of patients suffering from tinnitus and vertigo. In this study, we report on the evaluation of vestibular function through craniocorpography and the test of balance in order to determine a better vestibular diagnosis.

Usefulness of ultrasound-computer-craniocorpography in different vestibular disorders.

INTRODUCTION Vertigo is one of the most unpleasant symptoms. Two of the main points of the examinations are the vestibulospinal tests (Romberg test and Unterberger- Fukuda test) can be measured objectively by the ultrasound-computer-craniocorpography. Neurosensory deficits after myocardial infarction.

Cardiovascular diseases are extremely widespread and often cause vestibular system dysfunctions. They are related mainly to organic lesions of the brain. To investigate neurootological functional changes, we compared two samples from among our patients, of whom those in group A (42 persons: 92.86% male, 7.14% female) had experienced myocardial infarction within 1 year before our neurootometric ...

Neurootological differentiations in endogenous tinnitus.

Vertigo and tinnitus are very frequent complaints. Often, we find multisensory syndromes combined with tinnitus, hearing impairment, vertigo, and nausea. From more than 10,000 cases, we evaluated 757 randomly selected neurootological patients suffering from endogenous tinnitus. First, we classified the 10,000 patients into those suffering from the basic tetrad of tinnitus forms: bruits, endogen...

Study of test of balance in tinnitus and vertigo patients.

The diagnosis of patient disorders in modern neurootological centers has to include not only history and examination but objective and quantitative tests. In this study, we stress the importance of a short but significant test used to study vestibular function--the vestibular test of balance. The most common and widespread technique used to evaluate a patient's equilibrium in static condition i...
