We show that such superlattices can exhibit long-range magnetic order above room temperature, with a collective magnetic behavior governed by inter-NH spin spin interactions in additional to intra-NH spin ordering. Furthermore, magnetic semiconductors can be made by doping magnetic NHs into semiconducting NH superlattices. The possibility of engineering magnetic GNHs for storage media and spintronics applications is discussed.

Electrostatics Modes in Mono-Layered Graphene

In this paper, we investigated the corrected plasmon dispersion relation for graphene in presence of a constant magnetic field which it includes a quantum term arising from the collective electron density wave interference effects. By using quantum hydrodynamic plasma model which incorporates the important quantum statistical pressure and electron diffraction force, the longitudinal plasmons ar...

Finding Electrostatics modes in Metal Thin Films by using of Quantum Hydrodynamic Model

In this paper, by using a quantum hydrodynamic plasma model which incorporates the important quantum statistical pressure and electron diffraction force, we present the corrected plasmon dispersion relation for graphene which includes a k quantum term arising from the collective electron density wave interference effects (which  is integer and constant and k is wave vector). The longitudinal ...

Evidence of long-wavelength collective excitations in magnetic superlattices.

We report on a mechanism of dynamic dipolar coupling in magnetic superlattices via long-wavelength nonevanescent fields. In the spin excitation spectra of our heterophase stripe structures, such interactions mediate a singlet<-->doublet crossover in the frequency regime driven by the orientation of an external static field. This crossover is a new feature observed in collective behavior of supe...

Tunneling through finite graphene superlattices: resonance splitting effect.

An exact expression of the transmission probability through a finite graphene superlattice with an arbitrary number of potential barriers n is derived in two cases of the periodic potential: rectangular electric potential and δ-function magnetic potential. Obtained transmission probabilities show two types of resonance energy: barrier-induced resonance energies unchanged as n varies and well-in...

Band structure and gaps of triangular graphene superlattices.

The general properties of long wavelength triangular graphene superlattices are studied. It is shown that Dirac points with and without gaps can arise at a number of high-symmetry points of the Brillouin zone. The existence of gaps can lead to insulating behaviour at commensurate fillings. Strain and magnetic superlattices are also discussed.
