چکیده
This paper describes new conditions on parameters selection that lead to an efficient algorithm for forging ElGamal digital signature. Our work is inspired by Bleichenbacher’s ideas.

Generating Elgamal Signatures without Knowing the Secret Key ? ??
We present a new method to forge ElGamal signatures if the public parameters of the system are not chosen properly. Since the secret key is hereby not found this attack shows that forging ElGamal signatures is sometimes easier than the underlying discrete logarithm problem.

متن کاملPublic Key Cryptography with a Group of Unknown Order
We present algorithms for digital signature generation and verification using public key cryptography over an arbitrary group G. The algorithms are similar to those of ElGamal, but do not require a knowledge of the group order. Forging signatures or determining the secret key requires the solution of a discrete logarithm problem over G, or the solution of other problems which appear at least as...
متن کاملElGamal type signature schemes for n-dimensional vector spaces
We generalize the ElGamal signature scheme for cyclic groups to a signature scheme for n-dimensional vector spaces. The higher dimensional version is based on the untractability of the vector decomposition problem (VDP). Yoshida has shown that under certain conditions, the VDP on a two-dimensional vector space is at least as hard as the computational Diffie-Hellman problem (CDHP) on a one-dimen...
