1.1 Materials Chromium nitrate nonahydrate (Cr(NO3)2·9H2O, 99%) and hydrofluoric acid (analysis grade) were obtained from Acros Organics. Benzene-1,4-dicarboxylic acid (H2BDC, 99%) was acquired from Aldrich. Dichloromethane (DCM, >99.9%), N,N-dimethylformamide (DMF, 99.9%) and Ethanol (99.9%) were purchased from Prolabo. Polysulfone (PSF) Ultason S 6010 Natural was provided by BASF AG, Ludwigshafen, Germany. O2 and N2 gas were supplied by Air Liquide (Germany) and used as received (purity 99.99%).
