Locally Invertible Boolean Mappings
نویسنده
چکیده
The aim of this paper is to study a novel property of Boolean mappings called local intert-ibility. We focus on local invertibility of Boolean mappings which model ltering generators and study the case when ltering function is linear in the last variable.

INTERVAL TRANSLATION MAPPINGS 3 of
Interval translation mappings are not necessarily in-vertible local isometries of the interval which where recently introduced by Boshernitzan and Kornfeld 1]. Our main result is a sharp upper bound on the number of minimal sets such a mapping can have. 1. Introduction An important eld in the study of dynamical systems are the investigations on volume{preserving mappings. These mappings have st...
متن کاملOn Inverses of -convex Mappings
In the first part of this paper, we prove that in a sense the class of bi-Lipschitz δ-convex mappings, whose inverses are locally δ-convex, is stable under finite-dimensional δ-convex perturbations. In the second part, we construct two δ-convex mappings from l1 onto l1, which are both bi-Lipschitz and their inverses are nowhere locally δ-convex. The second mapping, whose construction is more co...
متن کاملOmega-almost Boolean rings
In this paper the concept of an $Omega$- Almost Boolean ring is introduced and illistrated how a sheaf of algebras can be constructed from an $Omega$- Almost Boolean ring over a locally Boolean space.
متن کاملQuasiconformal Geometry of Monotone Mappings
This paper concerns a class of monotone mappings in a Hilbert space that can be viewed as a nonlinear version of the class of positive invertible operators. Such mappings are proved to be open, locally Hölder continuous, and quasisymmetric. They arise naturally from the Beurling-Ahlfors extension and from Brenier’s polar factorization, and find applications in the geometry of metric spaces and ...
متن کاملWeighted Composition Operators on Weighted Spaces of Vector-valued Analytic Functions
Let V be an arbitrary system of weights on an open connected subset G of CN (N ≥ 1) and let B (E) be the Banach algebra of all bounded linear operators on a Banach space E. Let HVb (G, E) and HV0 (G, E) be the weighted locally convex spaces of vector-valued analytic functions. In this paper, we characterize self-analytic mappings φ : G → G and operator-valued analytic mappings Ψ : G → B (E) whi...
